Marine Rope Factory Start-Up
Portfolio/project
I was part of the start-up project team and led the operations of a marine rope manufacturing startup, conducting feasibility studies, hiring, renovations, purchasing, product development, costing, forecasting, budgeting, pricing, and financial reporting, contributing to a 35% growth in contracts and achieving ISO 9001:2015 certification.
The startup required a comprehensive approach to building a sustainable production system, recruiting a skilled workforce, renovating the facility, purchasing equipment, developing product formulas, managing financial aspects like costing, budgeting, and pricing, and providing financial advice to support strategic decision-making. I conducted a feasibility study to assess market potential, managed hiring and facility renovations, handled equipment purchasing, developed product formulas, and implemented costing, budgeting, and pricing strategies. Additionally, I provided financial advice to management to guide strategic decisions. I developed cost-effective product formulas, implemented precise costing models, created budgeting and forecasting processes, set competitive pricing strategies, and delivered financial advice to management, ensuring informed decision-making and operational efficiency. These actions resulted in a 35% growth in contracts, a 30% reduction in product defects, ISO 9001:2015 certification, and effective financial management that supported sustainable growth and accurate financial reporting.
This project built a strong foundation for the factory’s long-term success, ensuring operational efficiency, financial sustainability, and strategic market competitiveness through comprehensive leadership in all aspects of the startup.
